Natural Remedies Holidays
A fabulous opportunity to make your own lotions and potions from the many herbs and plants that grow on the island. Inspired by our commitment to healthy living and lifestyle, we simply substitute all those nasty chemicals and toxins for totally natural ingredients and, equally satisfying, the products you make will not have been tested on animals. This unique holiday experience embraces nature and teaches us to incorporate what grows naturally around us into our everyday lives.
We supply all ingredients and everything you make will be yours to use and take away. A typical session will include blending herbal teas, preparing creams and oils for the body and making preparations for medicinal use. By the end of your holiday you will have a selection of toxin-free, naturally made products and your own self-made first aid kit
We will also take the opportunity to learn about some of the herbs and plants that go into making your products and take a relaxing herbal walk along an old donkey path to the old village on Alonnisos.
There will be four classes throughout your week, each lasting approximately 2 hours enabling you to have plenty of free time to enjoy the island or to perhaps indulge in some of the treatments or other activities we have to offer; see our extras page for details. During your stay we also operate a full walking programme and you may wish to join us for these as they are a wonderful way to experience and fully appreciate the island.
The location for each class is a wonderful private villa with fabulous views and our natural remedy holidays are available throughout May, June and September.
If you would like us to we can arrange your accommodation, using a wonderful selection of hotels, self-catering studios and apartments or private villas with pools. Just give us your requirements and we will provide further information and prices.
Upon arrival we will meet you, show you to your car if required and then accompany you to your accommodation. Once you have settled in, we will visit you to give you information regarding the island in general and to discuss any additional locally available activities and treatments that you would like to book.
