Sample recipe
Hand Soother
- ½ oz marsh mallow leaves
- 200 ml still mineral water
- 10g beeswax
- 10g cocoa butter
- 50g sweet almond oil
- 4 drops grapefruit seed extract
- 10 drops sweet orange EO
- 10 drops lemon EO
Put the leaves and water into a pan, boil and simmer for 10 mins. Remove from the heat and cool to luke warm, strain and measure off 40 ml. Return to pan.
Heat beeswax and cocoa butter in pyrex jug and pan of water. Reheat marshmallow liquid until nearly boiling, then add to beeswax a little at a time, mixing as you add with hand blender until creamy. Add essential oils.
