The Gorge Walk – page 55

January 2009 - The lower part of the valley at Kastania is being turned into a reservoir. The usual entry to the gorge walk at this point is now part of the construction site and off-limits. The well & fig tree and the beginning of waymarked path number 11up from Kastania towards Kastanorema and Ayios Dimitrios beach have both disappeared. I hope both walking routes will be re-instated by the spring.
